Q: My video playback is not smooth.
A: The videos on this site are highly compressed to offer you the best video quality for a downloaded video. This requires some horsepower to decompress smoothly. We recommend at least 600 Mhz. There are some things you can do to help the situation. Make sure you have bus mastering enabled on your drives. Lots of memory helps. You may find some video players are more efficient than others.
Q: I have downloaded the file. Now what?
A: The file is packaged in a self-extracting compressed format. All you have to do is double-click to open it up and browse for a location to extract the video to. This file that you extract is the video you will be playing back.
Q: My video download failed before it was complete. How do I get it now?
A: The first step is to refer to the email that was sent to you at the time of purchase. The link inside allows 3 attempts at the download. If you have exceeded this amount, the link will direct you to ask for additional attempts. You can always email us with any questions at support@flightvideoproductions.com
Q: My links for the download did not appear or the download itself is always corrupted.
A: Both of these issues are associated with security software on the PC. Disable any firewall's and security software before downloading. This should take care of the issue. If you did not receive the download links, just email us at support@flightvideoproductions.com
Q: After my purchase is complete, how long should it take for the link to arrive in my email?
A: The download link is generated automatically when the purchase is completed. It should be less than five minutes before the link arrives in your email. If the link does not arrive within this time frame, please let us know and we will send you a link manually.
Q: After downloading the video will not extract or play correctly. What steps should I take?
A. After downloading the file to your computer, a simple double-click of the mouse is sufficient to start the extraction. The video installer will place the video in a folder for the specific aircraft "C:\King_Air_350". Inside this folder you should find the video.
Your not finding the folder or finding the folder empty means that the downloaded file is corrupted. You should download the file again. Be sure to disable any download managers and just use your browser's "save as" function. If you require a new link, send an email to support@flightvideoproductions.com
If the video file exists, then the extraction installer worked. If you are unable to play the video, take the following steps and test the video after each step is complete.
1. Download the latest media player:

Reboot the machine.
2. Download and install the Xvid codec separately.
